A guitarist, singer and songwriter since 1966, Simon first tasted success in the music industry in 1984, working as a producer and songwriter for WEA International. Based in Bangkok, Thailand, he produced three critically aclaimed albums with top Thai artists.

Leaving Thailand he was signed to Swiss-based Euro label Top in 1989 releasing a CD in Europe, the original version of
'Broken Heart & Shattered Dreams'.

He was signed to US indie label Apeiron Records in 1991, releasing a remixed US version of 'Broken Heart & Shattered Dreams' in late 1993. In 1994 Simon returned to his native Herefordshire in the UK, writing and producing corporate soundtracks for Sony, Mercury Communications and Dixons.

For the past 5 years Simon has played 70 plus shows at The Courtyard in Hereford every year from November through January in a trio with keyboardist RAB HANDLEIGH and drummer/percussionist JOHN CULTLER.

Simon teaches guitar and bass professionally (former pupils include Nu Jazz guitar virtuoso and 13th Hour Records artist LEE JONES and award-winning singer/songwriter JACK HARRIS) and works to develop and mentor the careers of young artists at his Herefordshire recording studio, Planet Zog.

Simon is a founding member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Accademy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
